Barcadouro was founded in 1996 with the mission of sharing the river and the Douro Region with the world, providing our Customers with the possibility of discovering the territory, the history and culture of a genuine people.
The dream of our founder, Fernando Costa has become a reality. With a fleet of 4 vessels Senhora do Douro, Infanta, Pirata Azul and Independência we introduce our national and international Customers to one of the most beautiful regions in the world; we have crafted cruises that combine visits to many of the Douro's must see attractions including wine estates and museums, with a natural beauty of the region to create a unique and unforgettable experience.
We also offer exclusive cooperate events and personalized special ocasions, such as private parties, birthdays, weddings, baptisms, etc.
