The Basto move.te is one association nonprofit of the region of Basto. It’s a group who want to motivate the physical activity outdoors, mainly through the walk , offering the opportunity to discover the region, our region, combining culture local environment, heritage, tourism but especially health and well-being. The desire to promote the creation of walking trails, short track in the region, gathering resources and means for its implementation. We defend that this type of infrastructures are vital in one region so rich in natural heritage such as the region of Basto. The walking trails provide to the users the quality and safety of the traces, and also, they can intensify the local economic activity, bringing knew dynamism to the household-based economic activities. We continue committed to implement knew Short tracks in the region of Basto. In the medium to long term, we aspire to witness the creation of a Long Trail.
