Description
At the very top of the hill, once spotted all the village points and where you can still enjoy an idyllic landscape, is encrusted in a set of rocks, the bell Cruise Moorish (the name is due to the existence of a granite large dimensions and which the  sound when whipped with a stone, will make you remember the touch of bells). Also known as Cruzeiro do Facho (for beeing served ate the sentinel, that is,lookout, in the Lusitanian and in the local time where they lit a beacon during the peninsular war with the French),  built by Manuel Busquets Aguilar and Father José Baptista Alves Lily. Its building (1940) intended to celebrate the eighth centenary of the foundation of the Portuguese nation and the third of its restoration. On the pedestal in granite steps, based on reinforced concrete cross.
