Casa de Sá (Manor House)

Vizela
Description
Baroque-style house; was built in the 16thcentury, although its façade is of 18th century. Several generations of this house enlarged the Country in areas such as politics, army, literature and music. Political refugees passed through here at the time of Absolutismo and Salazar (New State). Writers such as Jose Régio, Bishop Trindade Salgueiro and Camilo Castelo Branco exchanged communication with the children of the house, particularly the last one, the poetess Ana de Sá.
Casa de Sá is being classified since 1995.
