São João da Pesqueira
Description

Inaugurated on 12 February 2003, the Eduardo Tavares Museum is the materialisation of a long-standing desire of S. João da Pesqueira to honour and disseminate part of the work of this artist, sculptor Eduardo Tavares.

The museum showcases archaeological findings from various locations in the council, chronologically dated from over six thousand years ago, as well as two sculpture rooms with works by Eduardo Tavares.
