Ethnographic Museum of Nespereira
Created to safeguard local and regional identity by preserving, sharing and show experiences, "stories" and ancestry of the aspects of our peoples, the building was a target of restoration to keep the traditional style of the main body and reactivate the parties that supports museum's activities. In addition to the interior space, filled with the legacy of a exhibition of tools, practices and experiences, still has a large outdoor space, where it is exposed a floor, one granary and the whole set of own implements of agriculture. The space, multifunctional also receives various types of events such as exhibitions and thematic and didactic / pedagogical actions.
Receives permanently utensils, artifacts, tools, agriculture tools, furniture, clothing and footwear that was being collected by the Folkloric Group of Nespereira, and portraying the modus vivendi of a period extending from the beginning of the nineteenth century until mid-20

century. In a predominantly rural region stands out, without doubt, a whole collection linked to the primary sector and the artisans / craftsmen of the time. The main body of the Farm exposes the timeless beauty of the house, and the interior allows the discovery of traditional cuisine, the wine press and store, bedrooms and living room, and all the craftsmen areas, particularly depicted. Temporary performances, demonstrations, arts and crafts training.
