Every year the town of Maia is the capital of the traditional Portuguese folklore. From north to south, more than a dozen of folkloric groups dazzle the audience presenting the elegance of their costumes and the vividness of their music and songs. It is included in the program of the festival in honor of Nossa Senhora do Bom Despacho.
