In the feasts in honour of Santa Luzia, a large number of pilgrims and visitors come to Cucujães. Santa Luzia is the patron saint of those who have poor eyesight. this feast starts with the procession where is the “Banda Filarmónica Cucujanense”.  One of the highlights of this feast is the typical “Jeropiga” (traditional drink) which is possible to buy in a small fair where gastronomy is also present  the smoked meat, “regueifa doce” (twist bread) and other traditional sweets.
