This handicraft is much appreciated by the variety of pieces. The raw material, hard by nature, originates objects of rare beauty and aesthetic presence. Some of the produced pieces are for day-to-day use like lamps, amphoras, jars, vessels, but most of them are for decorative use like candlesticks or sprinklers, among others. One of the most appreciated pieces is the famous Rooster in iron or cupper. It is important to reference the notable workshop in cupper that stays in the Rua da Madalena, in the historic centre, working for more than 80 years.
