Since September 2016, the Matosinhos Municipal Market has been hosting a unique cultural venue. "Manifesto" now occupies the premises of the old tourist office designed by architect Álvaro Siza Vieira on the ground floor of the Market Hall with its entrance from outside the building.
Created by Nomad adventure travel agency founders, "Manifesto" has a newsstand where you can read and purchase a wide range of independent publications while drinking a coffee. The space also features an exhibition gallery that supports documentary photography.
"Manifesto" also promotes a number of events associated to the protection of the environment and people. Feature in partnership with National Geographic Portugal, which will allow the organization of four exhibitions a year of free entry.
Open Tuesday to Saturday: 10h00-13h00 - 14h00-19h00
