Description

The most unknown of the Portuguese mountains, as Amorim Girão entitled it is more than 1.380 meters high being the seventh highest mountain of the country and the third highest in the south of the Douro River. This mountain is located in the north-eastern region of Arouca where the highest geosite of the Arouca Geopark is – the "Pedra Posta" at 1.222 meters of height.
