The Museum Pius XII has a vast collection in the areas of lithic, coins, ceramics, textiles, sculpture, painting and jewelry. Visitors will experience a significant part of the work of Henry Medina, one of the great portrait artists of the XX century. The Museum Pius XII is depositary of 50 paintings and 20 drawings.
The museum offers a visit to the Medieval Tower, or "Our Lady of the Tower," where, over 5 floors and it tells the story of the city of Braga. The 1st floor illustrates the period of Brácaros; 2nd covers medieval Braga; 3rd floor puts us in the Renaissance - Braga beautiful squares; the beautification of these new spaces (the work of the architects André Soares and Carlos Amarante) is narrated on the 4th floor; the 5th floor puts us in touch with the current Braga
