(PL 1 - LOCAL PEDESTRIAN ROUTE 1)
The trail has a length of 9.5 km, reaching the highest point of the Penedo Rebolão, halfway through the course. Starts next to the church of Santa Marta Bouro, at the image of the Martyr Mario Felix, Spanish Civil War martyr, born in the town of Santa Marta Bouro. Entering into the village, we come across the vestiges of the old Couto de Bouro: Casa da Rendeira with its edge-stone, the old jail and chamber. Along the way you can still find groves of oaks and streams before starting to climb to the Penedo Rebolão. Walking down, pass down into the village of St. Bartholomeu to find the old road that connected Bouro Santa Marta to this locality. The sidewalk has the particularity to follow the path of natural water line. In the final part of the trail we went back to the village in the east west direction with its cross-stone, water tank and ancient houses.
