Besides other dishes, the “Fafense Roast Veal” is known all over the country and it is the most typical and appreciated dish of the Fafense gastronomy. One of the restaurants in town that served this traditional dish, was “Pensão Zé da Menina”, which is considered the “cathedral of the fafense gastronomy”.
