“Requeijo”’s Manor House

Description
The characteristic Manor House of rectangular plan, probably dating back to the 18th century, features two towers connected by a lower body, composed of three floors and areas crowned by cubes and spherical figures, having to its left side a communicating bridge with the nearby chapel of “São Francisco”.

The “loggia”, lays on arches, covering the entire facade. The ground floor is intended be a storage room, which is a typical feature in these buildings. The main floor includes an elaborate lintel stonework by the doors, integrated into a comprehensive set of great simplicity.
