At an altitude of 189 meters, in the farther west of Santiago de Bougado parish, rises at the Monte de São Gens de Cidai, from where we can see part of the Baixo Ave, in particular fragments of the municipalities of Trofa, Vila Nova de Famalicão and Santo Tirso, as well as the sea and the inland areas of the municipalities of Vila do Conde and Povoa de Varzim. It is curious also the particularity of finding phtnatic rocks in Monte de S. Gens, which are reason of interest, study and visit for anyone interested in geology.
