In Curvos parish is celebrated annually on the Festival of Senhor dos Aflitos.
This chapel dedicated to the Senhor dos Aflitos, built in 1830, owes its popular name "Rat Snake" because, most likely, in time, that there were many rats that location.
The festival always takes place on the Sunday closest to the last day of May.
