Inaugurated in 1950, built according to a Project by the architect João Simões who was inspired by antique classic stadiums, and which is obvious in the “horseshoe” type plant opened on the northern top. A special note on its clean design intrinsically linked to the granite that moulds its image, but also its careful insertion in the Parque da Ponte’s environment. It is going to be classified as a national cultural object.
