This museum is the result of a collection of pieces made by the Parish Council with the support of the local folklore groups, and now a fascinating exhibition, illustrating the life and work at sea of the people of Carreço, is on display. The creation of a museum was carried out in cooperation with Benjamin Enes Pereira, a leading Portuguese ethnographer, who is from Carreço. The exhibition also pays homage to Amadeu Costa, recreating domestic scenes.
