The TOUR OF THE CHURCH OF THE THIRD RELIGIOUS ORDER OF OUR LADY OF CARMO presents a possibility to visit the grand masterpiece created by the Third Order of Our Lady of Carmo along time. The secular religious art is well represented upon the altars in the emblamatic CHURCH OFCARMO, a national monument in the baroque-rococo style. Unknown even to the people of Oporto until a short time ago, the HIDDEN HOUSE, the narrowest house in the city, reveals it’s hidden secrets left there over centuries. There is a unique display of the Order of Carmo´s Silverware in the CATACUMBS, which enhances the portuguese silver craft. The decor of the SACRISTY, where all the priestly vestments and liturgical utensils are kept, is an extension of the Church itself.
