The Traditional Music Centre "Sons da Terra”was opened at the beginning of 2002 in Sendim to study and promote the traditional culture of the northeast “Transmontano”. One of the main features of the centre is the processing, cataloging and gathering information about the “transmontanas” traditions, through a wide range of materials (sounds, films and varied documentation).
