The trail of Berço de Magalhães has a length of 11km. With a blend between the mountainous landscape and the Douro Region, this trail allows living countless experiences that stimulate the senses. Throughout the route there are many historical sites that we can observe, thus covering some of which was also the historical development of the village, the birthplace of the navigator Fernão de Magalhães. The various historical periods like Castro, Romanesque and Manueline are represented in this trail.
