Adega e Presuntaria Transmontana open since 1998 being one of the oldest and traditional spaces of Gaia’s riverside.
Rustic décor with traditional Portuguese cuisine made in its original form and with Portuguese products, always accompanied by a friendly service typically Portuguese.
In our space one finds from various appetizers (hams, cheeses, smoked sausages), to the typical dishes of the “transmontana” region (posta de vitela à transmontana (veal), bacalhau á lagareiro (cod), polvo à lagareiro (octopus), lamb, boar, partridge).
Always accompanied by the best wines particularly of the Douro’s region.
